COLLEGE WORLD SERIES STARTS TODAY

Defending champion Texas will
resist challenges to its throne from seven other NCAA super-regional winners
in the College World Series.
The Longhorns (Big 12) are
joined by Rice (WAC), South Carolina (SEC),
Southwest Missouri State (Missouri Valley), Stanford (PAC-10), Miami
(Independent), Cal State Fullerton (Big West) and LSU (SEC) in the annual
national championship bash at Rosenblatt Stadium in Omaha, NE.

2003 CWS, which begins Friday, June 13:
