The Pirates and media members gathered to watch the NCAA Regionals Selection Show from the Harvey Banquet Hall in the Murphy Center. East Carolina was seeded No. 2 in the Conway, SC, Regional hosted by No. 1 seed Coastal Carolina. The No. 3 seed was Alabama and Columbia was seeded No. 4.
