Bowl Championship Series Standings [Oct. 15, 2006]

The BCS Standings give equal weight to each of three components — the Harris Interactive College Football Poll, the USA Today Coaches Poll, and the average calculations from six computer ranking services designated by the BCS. This season's first BCS Standings were revealed Sunday during NFL broadcast coverage on Fox. As the season progresses, subsequent BCS Standings will be announced during Fox's NFL Sunday coverage by the National Football Foundation.
