GREENVILLE — After enduring an embarrassingly sound beating last
week at West Virginia, East Carolina altered its weekly practice
regimen to incorporate more contact. The results were promising
enough in the Pirates' 59-24 pummeling of Army on Saturday to
prompt the team's coach to declare that ECU's practice routing
