Ran for 1,446 yards on 198 carries as a senior and scored 19 touchdowns to lead the Mustangs to a 9-3 record and the school’s first ever 3-A playoff win, 38-0 over Fort Pierce Central. ... Speed is a big asset for him. He has a 4.4-second time for 40 yards and has run an electronically-timed 10.4 for 100 meters. “As a junior he was a track guy carrying a football,” Lakewood Ranch coach Faust DeLazzer told the Bradenton (Fla.)
