Senior Reflections
East Carolina linebacker Pernell Griffin,
Conference USA's all-time leading tackler, will be playing in
Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium for the final time when the Pirates host
league rival Southern Mississippi on Friday. Griffin,
quarterback David Garrard and fullback Leonard Henry head a list
of 20 seniors who will leave ECU as the only graduating class to
put together four straight winning seasons since the school
joined the Division I-A ranks in in 1977.
