33 passes for 308 yards and five touchdowns with no
interceptions to lead the Pirates to a 41-7 win over
Memphis. |
Defensive:
Houston senior LB Phillip Steward and Tulsa senior LB
DeAundre Brown shared the honor. Steward had 13 tackles
and 2.5 sacks in the Cougars' 39-17 triumph over UAB,
while Brown registered 14 tackles and three sacks in the
Golden Hurricane's 33-11 victory over Texas-El Paso. |
