Lindsay Dolan’s school-record-setting mark in the 60 meter hurdles and Eric Frasure’s NCAA provisional mark in the weight throw set the pace for the East Carolina track and field squads this weekend as they competed in the Husker Invitational in Lincoln, NE.

Dolan ran a school record time of 8.76 seconds in the preliminary round. Frasure's 20.85-meter effort earned third place in the weight throw.

Al Thornton scored 21 points as Florida State handed Duke its second straight ACC loss 68-67 on Sunday afternoon at Cameron Indoor Stadium.

The Blue Devils missed two close-range scoring opportunities in the final seconds.

The NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Committee selected Texas A&M, Purdue and Ohio State to host the 2009 and 2010 championships.

Texas A&M will be the site for the 2009 men’s and women’s meets. The women will compete March 19-21 and the men March 26-28 that year.

Purdue will host the women’s championships March 18-20, 2010. Ohio State will host the men’s championships March 25-27, 2010. The Buckeyes will host the 2008 women’s events as well.

This year, Minnesota will host championships for both genders. The women will compete March 8-10 and the men on March 15-17.
